Calm starts every class. A gentle level check finds the real gaps — no red pen, no verdicts. Then we rebuild the two foundations everything else stands on: number sense & place value and multiplication & division fluency, through games and story scenes instead of drill sheets.

Act II · Weeks 3–6 · The Hard Scenes

The monsters become characters

The topics that break most students — fractions, decimals & percentages, measurement & unit conversion, geometry vocabulary & angle reasoning — each arrive as a story, get acted out, then get practised until they feel obvious. Fortnightly practice tests make progress visible without pressure.

Act III · Weeks 7–8 · Centre Stage

Confidence takes the spotlight

Word problems, exam strategy, and timed practice — rehearsed until test day feels familiar. Then the finale: the Family Showcase, where your child presents a solved problem to you, out loud, with their head up. Thirty years of drama training, spent on your child’s proudest five minutes.

We’ve never done online classes. Will this actually work?
This is the most common worry — and the demo exists to answer it. These are live, cameras-on classes in a cast of five, built around activity: your child speaks, acts, and solves in every session, so there’s no drifting off behind a screen. Will this fit my child’s school curriculum?
Yes. The programme builds the core Grade 5–10 mathematics that every curriculum — national, British, or international — stands on: number sense, fluency, fractions, decimals, percentages, measurement, geometry, and problem solving. The level check at the start aligns the plan to what your child is doing at school right now.
My child is really behind. / My child is capable but bored. Same class?
Casts are grouped by level after the demo and level check, and with only five children per cast, every child works at their own edge. The behind child rebuilds foundations without embarrassment; the bored child finally gets maths with some theatre in it.
What language are classes in?
English. Tanita is TEFL certified and has taught English-medium classes for thirty years, so children who are still growing their English are supported, not left behind.
How much homework is there?
One story worksheet a week — designed to be wanted rather than fought over, because it continues the story from class. Most children finish it in twenty to thirty minutes.
What if my child genuinely hates maths?
Then this is the programme written for them. Children don’t hate maths — they hate feeling stupid at maths. Remove the fear, add a story and a laugh, and the same child who “hates maths” starts asking for more. That is the entire point of the first two weeks, and it’s covered by the Calm Promise.
